Sand Lake Tricky to Access + Gorgeous

Take Powley Road off of Rte. 10 in Arietta NY to access Sand Lake. This is a seasonal road and not plowed in winter. It was a bit of an icy ride to the trailhead. Beautiful short hike with no major hills.

We call this one an easy payout! Gorgeous view and easy trail makes for a quick hit if you are in the area.
